I actually compared the Cordless Makita Drill with Milwaukee 0824-20.The Makita Cordless is much faster , powerful and reliable than the Milwaukee. It took the Cordless Drill Makita like ½ a minute to drill 4” into solid concrete . It took the Milwaukee over a minute. Milwaukee battery is heavy and died shortly into the 3rd hole. I was able to drill 6 holes with the Makita and the lithium battery was still going strong !

I use this Cordless Drill Makita harder and more often than most. As I use most every day in my profession. I have owned or do own DeWalt 18v, Bosch 18v and other models through the years. One thing my helper noticed Iam always getting the Makita 18-V out of the service truck. I find it most comfortable and much powerful than its competitors .This Makita Cordless Drill with NiMH 2.6A batteries has a long lasting run time and a quick charge time. I finally switching all my tools to Makita for the advantage of being able to interchange my batteries between tools.

This is an heavy-duty cordless drill, with an usual big Makita motor and excellent quality. I have used it on many hard jobs abused and used it. I have never had any problems; if I had I wouldn’t hesitate to replace it with another brand. I can’t review anything about Makita’s repair and warranty service. The truth is I have never needed to use it. Which is the best warranty anyone could hope for. That’s what it is all about.
