They also need a heavy duty drill bit because the ones made for wood would break in an instant.

And that’s the basic difference between the two most versatile cordless drills. Naturally, the hammer drills are more expensive than the regular ones. Be sure to keep your receipt when buying one so you can exchange it, if necessary.

Another thing to keep in mind is choosing between brands. I’d stick to the well known brands like DeWalt and Milwaukee. Now you’ll be more confident in making that special purchase.
